Our unique trailer design  
     
To tow our unique trailerable houseboats Getaway Concepts have designed a special trailer which makes travelling with our Series II trailerable houseboat a breeze. Feel free to browse pictures of our trailer in our Gallery section.

Here are some facts about our custom built triaxle trailer:

• Our unique design is equipped with 4 X 1000KG electric actuators to facilitate lifting the boat from its transport mode - to access and launching model.
• The trailer features an easy to operate control panel to control everything. When in 'access' or down mode the trailer lowers the boat to provide easy access into the boat while on  land. The control provided by the trailer also provides trouble-free launching of the boat without having to extend drawbars or 'drown the trailer and tow vehicle'.
• The trailer weighs in at 3500KG which is the maximum towing weight for a conventional 4WD vehicle in Australia.
• It features a large area underneath the boat to cater for additional recreational watercraft, surf skis, inflatables, crabpots, jet skis or fishing gear. A small fishing tinnie can also be accomodated.
• For a higher gross tare weight, Getaway Concepts can supply a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer up to 4500KG for towing capacity on a conventional 4WD.
• All axles and suspension system parts are made of marine grade galvanised steel for long life.
• The galvanised steel frame can be sandblasted and coated with high quality 2-pack paint to any colour.
